The Center for Electric Power Systems (EPS) activities include research into various phenomena that accompany electricity production, transmission, distribution, management, and use.
The aim is to improve the development and exploitation of current EPS, of large dimensions and complex structure, based on the development and introduction of new technologies and the application of new tools and problem-solving techniques, with the use of modern mathematical methods and informatics tools.
Research work at the Center for Power Systems today covers four primary areas:
- EPS analysis
- EPS development planning
- EPS management and exploitation
- Special services
