Official visit by the Director of the Institute for Standardization of BiH

Mr. Aleksandar Todorović, Director of the Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina (ISBiH), paid an official working visit to the Nikola Tesla Electrical Engineering Institute in Belgrade.

The discussions focused on strengthening cooperation in standardization and applied energy research, with emphasis on:

• alignment of technical standards and procedures with EU norms (CEN/CENELEC);
• joint R&D and pilot projects on reliability and energy efficiency;
• knowledge exchange through professional trainings and certification programs;
• supporting Western Balkans industry in adopting best practices and improving quality.

Both sides underlined that standardization is a key lever for innovation, competitiveness, and safety of energy systems, and agreed to direct the ISBiH–IEENT cooperation toward tangible, measurable outcomes for industry and the public sector.
