Supporting the Institute’s Innovations on Their Path to the U.S. Market

The Nikola Tesla Institute of Electrical Engineering welcomed Laura Short and Levi Latoz, representatives of the Commercial Law Development Program (CLDP) of the U.S. Department of Commerce. The visit focused on opportunities for cooperation and support for the commercialization of the Institute’s technologies in the United States.

The meeting included presentations of the Institute’s activities and innovations, as well as CLDP’s upcoming initiatives. Discussions addressed go-to-market strategies and opportunities to connect with potential U.S. business partners, with particular attention to Tesla’Ssorb and its further market development.

The visit builds on the Institute’s cooperation with CLDP, which has previously provided support in exploring intellectual property commercialization strategies. As part of its visit to Belgrade, CLDP also organized the “Accelerate Your U.S. Expansion” workshop in partnership with SEE UP, supporting Serbian entrepreneurs interested in entering the U.S. market.

The Institute thanks the CLDP representatives for their visit and constructive exchange, contributing to stronger international cooperation and new business opportunities for innovations developed at the Institute.
